Welcome to the Jobs & Careers section for the Lanes Group of companies.
Current Vacancies
You can see and apply for current vacancies by clicking on the Current vacancies tab. Jobs are listed by title and location and you can read the full advertisement before applying on line. Our on-line system will guide you through the process. We will ask you to complete some basic short-listing questions to help us match your skills and experience to the job criteria. You can provide more details about yourself by attaching a CV. If you don’t have a CV, don’t worry; just upload any document to continue with your application.
You will receive an automated reply so that you know we have received your application safely. Our closing dates are guidelines only and in cases of high response we may fill a vacancy early but we will keep you up to date with the progress of your application and notify you of decisions promptly. You will receive all communication by email from our recruitment team. Depending on the vacancy you may hear from our recruitment partners, Blue Octopus. They help us with shortlisting and advertising – see them as another “arm” of our recruitment team at Lanes.
Speculative Vacancies
Our current vacancies change regularly but you may find that what you are looking for isn’t available at the time. We have set up a speculative vacancy application for each of our locations so that you can register your interest for future vacancies. You can “apply” for as many locations and types of jobs as you want by clicking on the appropriate location, completing the brief questionnaire and indicating which jobs you would like to hear about when a suitable vacancy arises. You will receive an automated reply so that you know that we have received your application. When a vacancy arises, we will match our needs to your request and contact you to advise you that the vacancy is live on our website. You can then visit our current vacancies site and apply.
Data Collection
Please see our privacy policy. We will only keep your details for 12 months, unless you specifically ask us to remove your details before then. Your details are only used for recruitment purposes, are not passed to any third parties and are stored and disposed of safely. Information collated on the Equal Opportunities questionnaire is in statistical format only and used for diversity monitoring purposes only; we cannot see your specific answers and the information has no influence on our decisions.
